Returns Policy

RETURNS

By Better Ltd are committed to providing quality products to our customers. So of course we'll accept returns if you are not completely satisfied with any product you have purchased online, provided:

- the purchase was made within the last 30 days,
- the product is unopened, in original condition and packaging and labels intact
- the product is eligible for return (excluded products are detailed below)

We are not obligated to accept change of mind returns.

We will replace the item or issue a store credit.

Shipping costs paid by you or charged to you are non-refundable.

We recommend if returning a product you use tracked delivery. By Better Ltd will not be liable for the loss of any item being returned.

Items which are damaged during the return transit due to inadequate packaging will not be eligible for a replacement or store credit.

 

Excluded items for return:

Opened or used items, or items sold on sale, mark down or clearance, cannot be exchanged or returned, unless the product is faulty, expired or has caused an allergic reaction.

 

How to return

Please email us at bybetterinfo@gmail.com to arrange your return with:

- Proof of purchase: your order number, name, address and contact number

- A photo of the item

- A brief explanation relating to the reason for the return

 

We will then ask you to suitably package the product for safe transit and return it to us, the online order fulfilment centre.  We will discuss sending a replacement product or issuing a store credit.

 

Faulty Goods

Without doubt we'll meet our obligations under the Fair Trading and Consumer Guarantees Acts and any product which is faulty, damaged, expired or which causes an allergic reaction can be returned for a full refund, including the cost of shipping.

Please note if you are acquiring goods for business or commercial purposes as defined in sections 2 and 43 of the CGA, you agree that the consumer guarantees provided for in the CGA will not apply to the supply of those goods.

The CGA does not apply where the goods have been used in a manner, or to an extent which is inconsistent with the manner or extent of use that a reasonable consumer would expect to obtain from the goods.

WARRANTY: If the goods we supply do not meet their warranty guarantee, we will meet the warranty obligations.

All warranty claims must first be approved by us, are treated on a case by case basis and we'll do our best to remedy the situation or provide resolution.

We may decline a warranty claim if the fault has been caused by damage or misuse of the item, including improper assembly, modifications, negligent use or operation, inadequate maintenance, damage caused by re-location, use outside of recommended conditions, unauthorised repairs, and storm damage.

Further limitations for items like rusting maybe in place for areas with certain environmental conditions such as coastal, sea spray zone, geothermal zones.

For minor defects (repairable) we will either send replacement parts or organise the repair for you.

For major defects after assessment (not repairable) we will either replace the item or offer store refund.

FAULTY AND/OR IN WARRANTY GOODS: If the goods returned are found to not be faulty, or otherwise not in breach of the Consumers Guarantees Act upon assessment by us, goods will be able to be returned to you at your cost in addition to the return freight cost incurred in retrieving the item to us.
